Hematite with Mica

Gemstone Quality Standard

About Hematite with Mica

Hematite is a common iron oxide compound with the formula, Fe2O3 and is widely found in rocks and soils.

Hematite occurs naturally in black to steel or silver-gray, brown to reddish-brown, or red colors. It is mined as an important ore mineral of iron.

Ethical Mining

Our Hematite with Mica is not industrially mined. It is not a big reserve. We hand-collected our Hematite (rockhounding) from the desert surface during our crystal mining project. No dynamite or chemicals were used. No habitat destruction occurred.

Availability

We have only a small amount of this Hematite. We are offering custom-made cabochons and jewelry.
