Most importantly, do not expose Angelite for longer periods to water. When exposed to water, anhydrite readily transforms into the more commonly occurring gypsum by the absorption of water.  However, if you accidentally splash some water or liquid over your Angelite, simply wipe it dry immediately.

Commonly Angelite occurs in gypsum deposits in the form of fist-sized nodes. Consecuently the small size restricts the type of products that can be carved from it.  However, we also have a source for bigger nodes that provide for bigger décor products, like spheres of up to 75 mm.
