Red Aragonite

Color

Red Aragonite is a layered material where dark orange/reddish to dark red layers interchange with white layers.

Jewelry-grade material:

For jewelry, we are selecting the dark red material (shades reach from Garnet red to Wine and Mahogany) which shows white lines with a good crispy definition.

Polishable

Red Aragonite polishes to a perfect glass-like finish.

Impurities / Pores

Red Aragonite does not show impurities. For jewelry we choose the dark red part of the material which is free of pores, while in the slightly lighter reddish/orange material pores and holes may occur.
