Azurite "Ocean Blue"

Azurite “Ocean Blue” comes from a vein that was discovered in 2018 near Tarma in the Peruvian Andes. It is a mixture of azurite, malachite and white limestone being crossed by finest brown oxidationlayers. Parts of the vein also include quartz. Currently the vein does not produce new material anymore. The vein is only about 4 cm thick and therefore this material can not be used for decor-pieces. This material is not any longer sold by us. We are holding a handful of kilos for our own jewelry production and maybe would sell a few grams to gemcutters if ordered.
